The Place on the Bay hotel offers 21 serviced hotel apartments. All are elegantly furnished en suite bedrooms with a kitchen, king/queen-size beds, Samsung LCD TV with satellite television, air-conditioning unit, coffee/tea-making facilities and a bar fridge. The suites are serviced daily and guests have access to the outdoor heated pool and braai facilities. The open-plan Studio apartments range from Standard, Luxury to Superior. All are spaciously designed and include a lounge area and a sleeper couch. Studio apartments can sleep two adults and up to two children. Studios have lift and stairway access and enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean.

One Bedroom Apartments
One-bedroom apartments are ideal for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat. The apartment includes a sleeper couch and can accommodate two adults and up to two children. Both one-bedroom apartments enjoy their own private balcony and an exquisite view of the bay. The Superior one-bedroom apartment has an outdoor heated jacuzzi.

Two Bedroom Apartments
Two-bedroom apartments range from Standard, Luxury to Superior and are ideal for a group of friends or a family holiday. The apartments include a sleeper couch and can accommodate two couples and two children. A number of apartments have a private balcony and/or an outdoor heated swimming pool.

Trattoria Maranello offers authentic Italian cuisine with a twist, by combining the passion and style of Italy, with the flavours of South Africa. For a view of Camps Bay Beach and the picturesque sunset, the garden terrace is the ideal place to relax with a cappuccino or a chilled sundowner. The restaurant will also provide delectable appetisers or light meals for events held in the conference venue, upon request.

Swimming Pool
The pool overlooks Camps Bay beachfront and offers a relaxing environment for guests to unwind and enjoy the wonderful African sunshine.

Braai/Bar B.Q. Facilities
A four-burner gas braai is available to hire or the hotel staff can cook the meat to perfection for guests. The hotel will supply the braai, gas, utensils, spices, napkins and plates and meat packs may be arranged through the hotel's in-house restaurant.

Camps Bay Soccer Club clinic is 200 metres from the hotel and offers two- to five-day clinics for ages 4-13. All participants will be accompanied by the hotel's events coordinator.

Kayaking in Granger Bay can be arranged through Kaskazi Kayaks and is a two hour guided tour.
What to do around Cape Town
Visit the top of world-renowned Table Mountain in a cable car, shop at Greenmarket Square, take a boat trip from the Waterfront to Robben Island, or relax on the lovely beaches at Clifton and Camps Bay.
Any visit to Cape Town must include a trip to Cape Point, the tip of Africa. The Cape Point Nature Reserve, which covers over 22 000 hectares, showcases a combination of dramatic seascapes and soaring cliffs, antelope such as the rare mountain zebra and bontebok, as well as amazingly varied flora.
