Rooms & Suites
The Hotel boasts six individual accommodation wings, each with its own unique character, private gardens and facilities. The 201 spacious rooms & suites are individually decorated and feature the latest in 21st century conveniences.  

Superior Rooms
Our Superior Rooms are spacious and elegant – ideal for both leisure and business travellers and offer views of the hotel gardens, swimming pool or Table Mountain. The rooms have a choice of twin or king sized beds. Guests can comfortably be entertained in a mini-lounge area and a writing desk, complete with stationery, is ideal for catching up on correspondence. 

All rooms have an en-suite bathroom which vary in size depending on the location of the room; equipped with separate shower, bath, basin and lavatory. Bathroom amenities include a range of exclusive L'Occitane soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The 99 Superior Rooms vary in size, ranging from 42m² to 61m², depending on location. Superior Rooms are situated in The Oasis Wing, The Main Hotel and in Green Park. Inter-connecting rooms in Green Park are available on request.

Luxury Rooms
Our Luxury Rooms have an understated charm, complemented by modern luxury for the discerning traveller. They are larger in size than Superior Rooms, with more spacious sitting areas. Luxury Rooms also offer a choice of twin or king-size beds with a view choice of our magnificent gardens, Table Mountain or a balcony overlooking a tinkling fountain courtyard.

As with our Superior Rooms, guests can comfortably be entertained in a mini-lounge area. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom which vary in size depending on the location of the room; equipped with a separate shower, bath, basin and lavatory. The 45 Luxury Rooms range in size from 63m² to 76m² are located in The Main Hotel, Green Park and Taunton House. Interconnecting rooms are available on request in The Main Hotel and Green Park. 

Dining at the Mount Nelson Hotel
Fine dining has long been a tradition at the Mount Nelson Hotel. We are proud to offer our guests a choice of venues, each with its own individual style, for you to enjoy the very best cuisine in Cape Town.

The Cape Colony is renowned for its food, prepared with an abundance of fresh local produce and tantalizing spices to surprise and delight the palate. Bistro-style al fresco dining is offered in the Oasis Restaurant, and famous Afternoon Teas are served daily in the Lounge. Our stylish bar, Planet, provides the perfect setting for sipping champagne and cocktails under the African night sky.

Cape Colony Restaurant
The Cape Colony restaurant combines fine dining with impeccable service and an elegantly eclectic interior. The menu is split into two sections – best loved Classic dishes, and Contemporary dishes inspired by global influences. The extensive wine list was recently awarded the Diners Club Award of Excellence. The Oasis Restaurant
A sun-splashed poolside terrace overlooking the hotel’s lush garden and sparkling pool provides a bright and breezy setting for a wholesome breakfast or a relaxed alfresco lunch. Start the day with a selection of seasonal fruit, just-pressed juices, homemade muesli, oven-fresh breads and pastries, and your choice of hot breakfast favourites. Come lunchtime, cafe-style sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and classic light meals are the order of the day.

Sunday Jazz Brunch
